Centrifugal fans are classified into three categories

1. According to the different air pressure generated by the fan
① Low pressure centrifugal fan.The total pressure of the fan is less than 1000Pa.
② Medium pressure centrifugal fan.The full pressure of the fan is 1000Pa-3000Pa.
③ High pressure centrifugal fan.The full pressure of the fan is 3000Pa-15000Pa.

2. Classification according to different transmission modes
① Axial centrifugal fan.Through the coupling of the motor and the fan spindle to achieve power transmission.Advantages: high transmission efficiency, safety and reliability, high precision requirements for installation and maintenance.Disadvantages: pay more attention to its sealing to avoid problems, relative displacement and rotor imbalance phenomenon is a common problem of coupling transmission.
②direct connected centrifugal fan.The power is directly connected with the fan spindle to realize power transmissionAdvantages: Suitable for a lot of environment, such as the working environment of relatively high temperature working conditions.Disadvantages: The application conditions are relatively fixed, in the event of failure, maintenance is more troublesome.
③ belt centrifugal fan.Through the belt pulley and belt connected to the motor and fan spindle to achieve power transmission.Advantages: The speed of the fan can be adjusted by adjusting the size of the pulley so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the air volume and pressure of the fan.Disadvantages: the belt is not resistant to high temperature, easy to slip and break the belt this problem leads to a lot of environment can not be used, such as iron making this working environment of high temperature

3. Classification according to the different materials used to manufacture the fan
① FRP centrifugal fan:The main material is glass steel. FRP is a good corrosion resistance material, on the atmosphere, water and the general concentration of acid, alkali, salt and a variety of oils and solvents have good resistance. It has been applied to all aspects of chemical anticorrosion.
② Metal centrifugal fan:The main material of stainless steel fan is 304 and 316. Because the stainless steel material is resistant to high temperature and corrosion, it is widely used in pharmaceutical and chemical industry, metal smelting, petrochemical, photovoltaic, new energy industry.The main material of carbon steel fan is Q235. Q235 ordinary carbon structural steel, due to moderate carbon content, good comprehensive performance, strength, plasticity and welding properties are better match, widely used.
③ PP centrifugal fan:The main material is polypropylene. Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic synthetic resin with excellent properties. It is a colorless translucent thermoplastic lightweight general purpose plastic. It has chemical resistance, heat resistance, electrical insulation, high strength mechanical properties and good high wear-resisting machining properties.
